The Dog.

Привет!

This week for Writing we had to do a story about a dog dying. Our Writing class watched a sad scene from a movie called ''Marley and me". We had to re-write the story in our own words. And some people cried while watching the sad scene.. including me.

We were also looking at the effects of short sentences.

Here is my story! (Laura Langton Also Helped With This Story, she get's half of the credit.)

I walked slowly to the door. I hesitated. My hands were shaking and tears were filling up in my eyes. I swallowed the huge lump in my throat. I could feel my cheeks turning red. I slowly turned the doorknob. A rush of hospital smell hit me in the face like a dodge ball hitting my chest. A doctor passed me and they said ‘’You look a bit pale ma'am, are you alright?,’’

I burst into tears and I looked down. “It’s alright, ma'am. Your name?.’’ I told her my name and she walked over to her desk and started typing on her computer. Then she stood up and said, “Right this way, please.” I hesitantly followed the doctor. I felt my body tense up as I thought about seeing my sick dog dying. I enter the room, my heart drops into my shoes. I ran over to my dog. I felt like a ghost staring at my own dead body. “I’ll give you a minute’’ The Doctor said as she exited the room.

The dog whimpered weakly. I stared into the dog's eyes. Memories came flooding into my brain. I remembered how we played fetch, played in the park,took walks in the forest.I just wish we could play 

I could see the pain in his eyes, I wish he wasn’t sick-

The dog looked at me with sad eyes. I remembered how I always used to yell at Marley. He just wanted to play, but I always used to kick him out, and yell; “GO AWAY! CAN’T YOU SEE I’M BUSY!?’’

I started to cry again, I was sure that the whole hospital could hear me. I regretted life choices, really badly.

The dog lifted it’s paw and put it on my shoulder. Then..

The dog's body grew cold. I tried not to cry but it was too hard. Then I started to scream and the Doctor entered the room. 

‘’YOU ALREADY INJECTED HIM WITHOUT TELLING ME!?”

The Doctor walked away. And I was left alone.

What I did in the weekend! 17/5/2021

Yesterday, I went ice skating at Alpine ice with my friend!

In the car ride to Alpine ice, I was really nervous.

It was only my second time skating. When my mum parked, my friend and I ran up to each other and gave each other a big bear hug. As we entered the building, I started to regret my decisions   I was really scared- My hands were shaking, And I just wanted to run away screaming. My friend (Who is a professional skater) grabbed me by the hand and took me to put on my ice skates. I shook my head, and she assured me that I will be okay. I slid into the ice skates and walked onto the ice. I tried my best not to fall over and my friend taught me how to stand, and how to do a cross over. I successfully learned how to skate in just two hours! I was very proud of myself. My friend and I were skating in circles hand in hand, and just giggling and talking about life. I really enjoyed it.

Everyone played a game called ''Spin the bottle'' Basically what it is, is everyone stands in a circle, and a bottle gets spun. Whoever the bottle lands on, wins a prize! Sadly, I didn't win anything. But I didn't really care. My friend and I bought some hot chips and we were so hungry, that after a couple of seconds, the chips were gone.

Near the end of the session, something traumatic happened!- A girl broke her leg while skating. A huge crowd surrounded her. She looked in pain, but she wasn't crying, and I think that was because she was is shock. A wheelchair was rolled onto the ice, and the girl was taken away. I felt really sorry for her. :(

My mum made a video of me and my friend skating, but I sadly cannot put in onto my blog.

Overall, I really enjoyed ice skating, and I really want to go ice skating again! :)

Dark Creative Piece Of Writing (Words of the DP)

 Hey Guys! Today for writing we had to write a short descriptive story of us skydiving. We weren't allowed to use the words ''Skydive'' And ''Skydiving''

 Here's my work! I do hope you like it. :)

I waited anxiously to jump down. I looked out of the window and saw that the ground was tiny! a sensation of butterflies filled my stomach. It felt like they were having a disco in there! 

The pilot signaled that it was okay to jump down. The door opens slowly  and I grab the edge of a seat and hold on for dear life. ''Anytime now..'' The pilot yells from the cockpit. I look down. My legs feel like spaghetti and my whole body is shaking. I took a running leap and jumped out of the plane. I started to scream! I tried to take out my dismantled parachute but it didn't work.. I knew that this was the end. I saluted as I waited for my doom.
