My Weekend. 8/11/2021

Hey guys! 

What did you this weekend?

On Saturday, I went to Russian School. 

It was kind of boring though. I was just sitting there for  an hour and a half doing nothing.

After that, mum, dad, Vera and I, all went to north link and bought sushi for lunch. 
I had teriyaki chicken on rice. It was delicious! 

After that, my family and I drove home. I helped clean the house. While cleaning, I listened to my favorite tunes on Spotify. :)

When I finished cleaning, I went on my laptop for a bit. That was pretty much my Saturday. 

On Sunday, my family and I all went to do some errands in the morning. After that, we all got takeaways for lunch! Because, why not? We had some Malaysian food, and it was so good! 

I ate everything in like, two bites. 

After lunch, I red my book for a bit. I was on a really interesting part! And then, I went on my laptop and called with my friends on Discord. 

That was my weekend!

Walking into the room, 

My books in my hand, 

I glance at my desk. 

It’s the last row. 

Right at the back. 

All the students are men, 

taller than me, the only female. 

I take out my book, and open it, prepare 

for the long lecture on science. 

The lecturer enters the room. 

His grumpy face dulls the mood. 

He slams a piece of chalk at the chalkboard, begins

to speak. His voice echoes.

Everyone takes notes. 

I drip my pen into the inkwell, 

I see the pen drown in a sea of ink. 

A single drop of ink cascaded through the air and it seeped through the pages. 

I stare at it. 

The lecturer's loud voice hurts my ears. 

I look out the window, and my mind drifts into thought. 

What would it be like in the future?...

Would there be women's rights? 

Would schools be different? 

Would we all still...exist? 

Curiosity fills me.

I don’t want to be here anymore.

I want to explore the world. 

I want to know more.
